be.CAUSE Gallery & Studio offers you a full spectrum art experience. We host painting parties and lessons for both children and adults, and offer fundraising painting parties for non-profit organizations. We specialize in affordable custom portraits/paintings created directly from your own photograph. We feel everyone should be able to afford high quality original art. In addition, we donate a minimum of 10% of our profits to both local and national non-profit organizations.
Brown County Art Guild
In 1985, The Indiana State House recognized Brown County as “a historic and current center of art in Indiana,” and stated The Brown County Art Guild and The Brown County Art Gallery Association “have contributed much to preserving the heritage of Brown County as a center for art and artists.” We hope you enjoy the variety of art The Guild and Brown County has been offering visitors for over sixty years!

By Hand Gallery is a cooperative art gallery featuring over 100 local and regional artists. We have been showcasing high quality art in the Bloomington community for over 30 years.

Whether you want to be transformed or help others in the process, whether you’re looking for good art or a place to showcase yours, we’d love to hear from you.
Gather :handmade shoppe:
Gather (formerly Gathering :handmade pop-up shop) is a handmade shoppe representing independent designers and makers. They have hosted a multitude of one-day events in Bloomington and a month-long holiday pop-up shop downtown in Fountain Square Mall. In the fall of 2014, they plan to open our permanent brick and mortar location in downtown Bloomington. Facebook
Ivy Tech John Waldron Arts Center
In May, 2010, Ivy Tech Community College took ownership of the John Waldron Arts Center building and now provides space for credit and non-credit coursework, 6 galleries, one of which is a virtual gallery, and 2 performance spaces.
Monroe County History Society
The mission of the Monroe County History Society (MCHS) is to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of Monroe County’s history, culture, and natural environment by all. To accomplish this purpose and mission, the MCHS collects, preserves, researches, interprets and exhibits the genealogy, history and artifacts of Monroe County, Indiana. With five galleries, four that rotate what is on exhibit multiple times a year, we have something for everyone! Facebook email
The Nook Gallery
The Nook opened in November of 2013. It is a small gallery representing over a dozen Indiana artists. You can find hand made one of kind jewelry, pottery, and paintings here. They have wood turned items and natural hand made bath products as well. The Nook also offers custom engraving and personalized gift items such as boxes, wooden spoons, and bottle openers. They are adding new items almost weekly, so come in and see what's new Wednesday-Saturday 10:30am-5:30pm. Facebook
Panache is a local independent dance studio offering ballroom, Latin, dance fitness, Bollywood, Hip-Hop, Bellydance and more! Panache has a high-quality dance floor and large walls of mirrors, and can be rented for performances, classes, and events. Facebook
Patricia's Wellness Arts Cafe
Patricia's Wellness Arts Cafe is home to the Wellness Arts Gallery, exhibiting local and international artists. Every first Friday, we host a reception from 5:00pm to 8:00pm for the current arts exhibit, where we offer the Quilter's Comforts Herbal Table, featuring herbal teas, herbal baked goods, herbal dips and more! Also in the Gallery you will find locally made arts & crafts, including Ichiyo - One Leaf Dharma Supplies, Joanne Shank's india ink paintings, Libby Gwynn ceramics, R. Mills wood products, and Quilter's Comfort locally blended certified organic gourmet artisan teas, seasonings, jellies and body care products. We also offer a variety of wellness arts practices including Reconnective Healing, Reiki, Green Lifestyle Coaching and arts and craft classes and workshops; Arts on Vacation and the Arts Jam Classes.
In just five years, Pictura Gallery has gained a reputation for its nuanced exhibits and has come into the public eye as a thoughtful new venue for emerging and established artists. The gallery specializes in contemporary photography, focusing on work with strong formal sensibilities and depth of content. Additionally, the gallery serves as an educational resource for Indiana University and the community through artist and curatorial talks.
Sculpture Trails Outdoor Museum
Founded in 2002, Sculpture Trails Outdoor Museum has grown to proudly display over 100 large-scale sculptures by artists from around the world. Sculpture Trails Outdoor Museum is located deep in the woods amongst the rolling hills of Solsberry, Indiana. The Museum's Mission is to bring Outdoor Sculpture and Art Education to the community through various hands-on sculpture workshops, services and programs.
The Venue Fine Arts & Gifts
The Venue Fine Art & Gifts is dedicated to providing excellence of the arts in the Midwest. We feature quality handmade artistic creations in a wide variety of mediums, including oils, acrylics, water color, ceramics, jewelry, and wood. We feature new artists the first and third Friday of every month, and a diverse lecture and demonstration series every Tuesday night.

WonderLab Museum of Science, Health and Technology
WonderLab's mission is to provide opportunities for people of all ages, especially children, to experience the wonder and excitement of science through hands-on exhibits and programs that stimulate curiosity, encourage exploration, foster lifelong learning and explore connections to the arts and everyday life. WonderLab uses art-based activities and experiences to explore science in a hands-on way. The highlight is First Friday (evening of the first Friday of the month) when WonderLab features regional artists demonstrating their work, augmented by exciting hands-on art activities that replicate the artist's medium and show how creativity and innovation are required in both art and science. WonderLab also provides weekday and weekend programs on a variety of art-related topics, as well as art exhibitions that are displayed on the gallery walls.
