Kendal uses a technique called High Dynamic Range (HDR) to create a unique look. Several exposures are taken and then blended together to make one image. Special techniques are used to enhance detail then images are printed on canvas or on paper then laminated and mounted onto brushed aluminum dibond or gatorboard.
He prefers framing his work without glass. He feels glass can become a barrier between the viewer and the photograph. The lamination serves as protection of the print without blocking the the viewer from the image. email
